Sean Turner – Begin Again (CD)

In a more serious and comparatively adult work, Sean Turner leaves lullabies behind and offers a new set called Begin Again (2006) offering another solid all-instrumental journey.  The compositions heard here, all written by Turner, are:

4)     It’s Gonna Be Alright

5)     Club Carmela

6)     North Shore Drive

7)     Begin Again

8)     One Wish

9)     Two Sides Of A Coin

10)  Coming Home

 

 

Though it is a good, solid work, it is only somewhat memorable and though fun, not striking.  It sure demonstrates some real music talent, but is just not wildly distinguished.  It is accomplished enough to take a listen to if you like Jazz.  The PCM 2.0 16Bit/44.1kHz Stereo sound is even better than his 2003 lullabies set, and not just because it is newer.  This recording just has more open space and plays better overall.  Go to www.SeanTurnerMusic.com and learn more.
