The Simple Life 3 – Interns

Paris Hilton just cannot seem to stay out of trouble in
real life, but she is good at staying in the public eye. Money notwithstanding, there are things that
she does that keep her viable. One
thing has been teaming up with her good friend Nicole Richie and there is no
doubt of their chemistry. That is one
of the reasons their “reality TV” series The Simple Life has gone as far
as it has. Armed with the Bunim/Murray production
team that made this kind of thing commercially successful in the first place
with the still-running Real World.
Instead of doing the same thing all season, this third
season offers them hopping from job to job as Interns and like it or
not, they are funny and the situations are often amusing. Particularly of interest are installments
where they go work at a bakery, airline, car repair shop, try to be
secretaries, zoo, plastic surgery, nursing home, electronics manufacturer and
one particularly interesting one at an ad agency you have to see to
believe. These ladies are smarter than
they let on, which is something not everyone seems to realize.
The 1.33 X 1 image is cleanly taped professional analog
NTSC video, while the Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo has Pro Logic surrounds. There are no extras, but you will get more
than enough of “the girls” in this set.
