If you have a fascination with animals and other living
things exploding or being mutilated, Joe Cartoon – Greatest Hits #1 is
for you. A compilation from the
JoeCartoon.com site, it is a curio for those who might want the same material
outside of visiting the site, but here are 12 “Joe Shows” with the DVD
exclusive “Press-N-Splode” feature where you can help the characters mutilate
themselves. Five episodes of the “white
trash” Thuh Greenfields round out the “duh factor” represented here.
The 1.33 X 1 image is computer color like the animated
shorts themselves, hand drawn or not.
The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo is simple, might be slightly harsh at time
and has no real surrounds. Extras are
dubbed “Bogus Features” and add three vintage Joe shots, 8 Yo-Yo-Yo (Hip Hop
fly?) shows and 3 video clips. We’ll
keep those a surprise, I guess.
