Leroy & Stitch

Picture: B-     Sound: B-     Extras: C-     Animated feature: C-

When we looked at Lilo & Stitch 2 – Stitch Has A Glitch (2005) a while ago, it was remarkable just how really bad it was.  Now comes Leroy & Stitch, a never-say-sequel sequel that is not quite as annoying as the choppy, pathetic previous cash in, but the idea of having Leroy be an evil twin of Stitch is almost as stupid as anything from the last sequel production and therefore has nothing really new or interesting to offer.  Only young fans and fanatics should apply.

The anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image is colorful but has less detail than expected, though the color schemes still get tired after a certain point.  The 5.1 mix this time is Dolby, but not DTS like the last sequel, meaning even Disney knows what a waste that was as a gimmick.  This sounds better than that, but not by much.  At least it is not harsh or shrill.  An episode of the Lilo & Stitch TV series never seen before and some games are the extras, but that is all.
