Review - This is a beautifully drawn anime with wonderful music.  Now if you can ignore the fact that gigantic robots that can appear out of nowhere, it is a fairly intense but short anime with intimate scenes and enjoyable characters.  While the characters are of high school students, the contents of this anime are for a more adult nature.  While there is comical moments, the dramatic moments over powers the emotional play of the characters.  Conflicts of caring for others, self and desire, dark and light side of personality are the themes.  I rather enjoyed this anime when the mecha isn't the sole focus of but characters, their lives and interactions as well.

Episode 5: Over the Darkness of Night

As the Orochi appears one by one, Souma defeats them.  But what happens when he is reunited with his long lost brother who wishes to kill Himeko.  Where will he stand?

Episode 6: You, Where the Sun Shines

Chikane is kind and beautiful, perfect in academics and arts.  But being perfect she lives in the shadow of other's ideal of perfection.  Only Himeko, talks and treats her normally... to Chikane, Himeko is her sun and the person that truly brightens her day.

Episode 7: Rainfall in the Hell of Love

As battle rages, so does Chikane's heart.  Does she just desire to protect Himeko or is it something deeper?  Conflict fills her soul... realizing her feelings Chikane must make a choice, changing everything...

Episode 8: Stom of the Sliver Moon

Realizing her darker side of nature, Chikane become an Orochi to obtain hearts desire.  How can Souma and Himeko fight someone they consider closer than anyone else?
