Angus Valley Farms

No matter
how bad an idea is, if it was a commercial success at any time, someone will
try to revisit it and “do it right” or “better” or the like. One of the worst ever was The Blair Witch Project, which got
very, very lucky and is one of the greatest frauds ever perpetrated on the
public. Angus Valley Farms is also shot on tape and thinks it is the smart
version of the former, but is just so amazingly naïve about how dumb the idea
was in the first place that it becomes just as bad. At least not as many people will see it.
The 1.78
X 1 letterboxed image is bad, shot on tape and has all kinds of color and
detail trouble, compounded by silly effects that try to make the video look
like warn film. We’ve seen better on Saturday Night Live. The Dolby Digital 5.1 sound is also
surprisingly shrill, dreadful & weak and fortunately, there extras like
trailers and two featurettes are pointless.
