Review -  Based on the manga, Oh My Goddess has several different series, OVAs, Movies, Mini-series, TV series First Season and Second Season.  One of the earlier and more well known animés, Oh My Goddess is a classic and is a must see for all who watch anime.  I mean, who doesn't like the idea of living with 3 Goddess living together?  It appeals to all ages, funny and heart warming at the same time.  A beautifully draw anime with touching story and wonderful music, there has been so many things that have come from this series CDs, toys, posters, accessories, DVDs... once you start you can't stop to you have it all.

---------------------------------------------------------

Episode 1: Moonlight and Cherry Blossoms

Keiichi Morisato is attending college while trying to order take out one day instead gets the Goddess Belldandy, while thinking it is some sort of prank he wishes for her stay with him forever... And now he ends up with his wish granted, the almighty accept and Keiichi fate becomes tied with Belldandy forever, only thing is the dorms have a rule: NO WOMEN ALLOWED!

Episode 2: Midsummer Night's Dream

Living together with Belldandy is wonderful, now if only Keiichi wasn't so shy with Belldandy things would be perfect. Belldandy's sister Urd (limited) sexy but very naughty, decides to crash the two lovebirds.  Urd gets tired of this and decides to heat up the romance.  A trip to seaside... the right atmosphere, timing ...a goddess and a love potion.

Episode 3: Burning Hearts on the Road

It is very lonely for Belldandy's Sister Skuld (limited) very smart but slightly bratty, managing heaven and get riding the bugs in the system... missing Belldandy, she discover Belldandy on Earth with Keiichi, and decides that this is totally beneath Belldandy and unacceptable.  As things get crazier with temperamental Skuld joining the party, Keiichi gets caught up representing the Auto Club at the races, can Keiichi win the race and win over Skuld, or will he crash and burn?

Episode 4: Evergreen Holy Night

As life starts settling down for Keiichi things become more or less normal, and getting used to living with 3 beautiful Goddesses.  Bugs start appearing on Earth... things become unbalanced between the Earthly and Heavenly plane. How can mortal help?  Skuld discovers the core system problem stems from Keiichi giving her the perfect excuse to say why Belldandy and Keiichi shouldn't be together, but on top of that Belldandy get summon to return to Heaven!

Episode 5: For the Love of Goddess

With now a recall for Belldandy what is Keiichi to do?  Belldandy to return to Heaven in 2 days and her memories on Earth to be erased! With a Goddess shouldn't things be like Heaven, but why does it seem like the opposite?  How will Keiichi decide to face the end?  As he struggles to buy a ring for Belldandy, will it mean anything? Will he finally be able to show his love for Belldandy?

The 1.33 X 1 image is a little soft and Dolby Digital 2.0 sound only slightly stereo at best, but the art is exceptional and extras include Special Audio Options (Dub your own OMG, Commentary), Interview with Producer Toru Miura, Inside Nekomi Tech (school manual, newspaper, and ID), Character Cards, Character Designs, Karaoke, Image Gallery, Program Notes and Trailers.  I love the fact that this finally came in a box set and you can watch a complete series at time along with all those extras.  With this first OAV series it is a great introduction to a series that spawned an entire generation of devoted fans.
