Dragon Tales!
The animated children’s program is a success, if not a phenomenon, but
between other such kid-friendly entities (Barney) and the continued reign of
the fantasy genre, it has found its niche.
Experience New Things! is the
latest DVD release featuring five more shows from the series. Though not overwhelming in content, the show
is a pleasant diversion with some moral center to it and your kids could do
much worse.
The 1.33
X 1 image is fine for a semi-colorful production with simple animation. The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo is clear enough,
but has no surrounds. You get two
sing-along pieces as the only extras, but this is otherwise a basic release.
