In 3001.5 Earth is ruled by the Margarita Empire.  The evil Emperor orders an army of Hair Hunters that everyone must be bald.  One village after another is shaven bald.  Our story starts when a young pink haired girl named Beauty is about to be shaven.  Bo BoBo saves her from the Hair Hunters with his whip-like nose hairs, Bo BoBo claims to be the champion of hair, vowing to stop the Hair Hunters.  Beauty amazed by Bo BoBo words then decides to follow Bo BoBo and his mission.

Just when I thought I saw it all of aliens, monsters and weird characters, this anime blows me away with its unique and crazy characters. Both story and character are unpredictable, strange and out of the world situations. This anime is filled with Japanese jokes and puns, and with the changing situations the characters could be in a battle, a minute later they are doing something else. The series is fast paced and you have to keep up with the dialog, otherwise that it’s funny and comedic anime.

The 1.33 x 1 image is soft and poor.  Why a recent release looks this way is odd, but that is what you get.  The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo has Pro Logic surrounds that

Original Japanese track with poor English subtitles is a big problem for fans, so only get it if you want to hear the English dub.  It is hard to enjoy this Comedy/Sci-fi that way if you can’t read the jokes.  There are no extras.

Watching this anime you have to have an insight to Japanese culture and its jokes, otherwise it might leave viewers confused and puzzled.  The technical limits don’t help, but the shows are still good despite that.
