Stuart Little – The Animated Series: All Revved Up!

Not being
a fan of the live action with Computer Graphics Stuart little feature films, I
was curious about the animated TV show that I had never seen. Could it all work in an all-animated context,
especially one that was hand drawn? The
answer is yes, making for a much more charming and entertaining time that the
gimmickry of the features.
Sony has
issued two DVDs with three episodes a piece at about a half-hour per show,
though that only adds up to 67 minutes per DVD.
All Revved Up! has The Meatloaf Bandit, A Model Driver and Team Little, while Fun
Around Every Corner offers Little
Skateboard Dogz, The Great Outdoors
and Life, Liberty & The Pursuit Of
Taco Tuesday. All in all, you get
child safe programming that children will not get bored with too quickly, even
if it is not the top of its class.
The 1.33
X 1 image has some detail limits, but color and artwork are nicer than
expected, actually being more pleasant than the CG from the feature films. The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo is simple and
nicely recorded, but oddly offers no surrounds.
There are no extras.
