Saved By The Bell – Double Feature/Two Movies! (Hawaiian Style/Wedding In Las Vegas)

If the
success of the TV series and spin-off of Saved
By The Bell were not annoying enough, the producers went out of their way
to cash in further on the franchise with two bad TV movies. They had the money to go on location with Hawaiian Style and Wedding In Las Vegas, but just about any major show I could think
of that went there did much better for their time and money than these
disasters.
Watching
these years after the two minutes I ever watched of the original series when it
arrived, this is far worse, if that were possible (and it is) and I was amused
by how hardly anyone on this show went on to any kind of success
whatsoever. Mario Lopez ducked sexual
assault charges and showed up on talk shows et al, Elizabeth Berkeley did Showgirls and Dustin Diamond became a
media figure from reality TV to XXX work to a send-up of Inside The Actor’s Studio where (on Saturday Night Live) Tobey Maguire played him!
Unless
you are some huge fan from the time of its debut, these are duds best skipped.
The 1.33
X 1 image very soft, fuzzy and color limited with bad camerawork throughout
(shot on analog video like the series) and like the poor Dolby
Digital 2.0 Stereo is all second generation.
There are no extras.
