How bad
is the TV mini-series Killer Wave
(2006)? Laughably so. When two couples are wiped out having fun at
the beach and everyone by the creators realize how unintentionally funny this
is, you know you in for a long sit at 175 minutes. Angus MacFadden and Tom Skerritt are also
wasted along with about three hours of our lives watching digital water kill
people. You could make better waves in
the kitchen sink! Skip this one.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image is shockingly weak and soft, with detail
issues and laughable digital effects.
The Dolby Digital 5.1 mix barely has any surrounds and shows how poor
the TV audio was. Interviews, a making
of featurette and trailer are the lame extras.
