Elmo’s World – Opposites (Genius DVD)

Did Elmo
kill Sesame Street? Did he take it over to the point that it is
not the show it once was? His debut
certainly shifted the show away from its roots more than it should have and
though he has been an asset to children in general, there is no doubt something
has been lost. Opposites is one of many Elmo on DVD shows and the first we have
seen.
It is
fine and does the job it needs to of eliminating pseudo-difference in
developing minds. We expected no more or
less form this release and fits in with the whole franchise as we know it. Good thing it does not disappoint.
The 1.33
X 1 NTSC videotaped image is colorful and detail limited, but fine for children,
along with Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo that will keep children happy. There are surprisingly no extras.
