Halloween
is a fun holiday for everyone to laugh, get free candy, wear costumes and have
a good time, no matter what idiots try to ruin it, scare kids from going out
for candy or talk some religious mumbo jumbo about how it is about Satanism or
some other rot to ruin a good time. If
anything, it is even part of the fun of the American Experience and
fortunately, many will not back down or let go of this fun tradition. Nickelodeon is releasing two fun children’s
animated DVDs in advance in Go Diego Go
– Diego’s Halloween and Max &
Ruby – Perfect Pumpkin.
We have
covered Diego before and the approach works for the holiday, though three other
non-Halloween shows are included and somehow fit. Max
& Ruby is a first for us, but a great pair of child-friendly animated
rabbits whose outreach to children is just as effective. Each of the four presentations has three
sub-stories and that also works. This
was more entertaining and pleasant than expected.
Both are
presented in a 1.33 X 1 image and Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo, with performance
