The Doodlebops are a combination group of TV
show hosts and have a music band ala The Archies, but what kind of music they
play is so bad, I cannot peg the genre.
It is not Rock, Pop or New Wave, nor is it Soul of any kind, so think of
it as “tween noise” because it makes no sense, like the show itself. We
Love Our Friends is a new DVD from Lionsgate and is the first time I have
ever seen or heard of them. I hope it is
the last.
This is
never entertaining, colorful to no point and never funny. At best, it is lite, child-safe fare, but the
four episodes here just blurred. For
fans only.
The 1.33
X 1 image is a little soft from the NTSC analog video used to make it, down to
the split screen usage at times. The
Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo is just fine for a new recording, but nothing special,
even with the music and there are no surrounds.
Extras include 4 sing-alongs and 2 dance alongs. Yahoo?
