the second sequel to something called
Sleepaway Camp, Return To Sleepaway
Camp (2008) is another one of those unnecessary messes of a Horror sequel,
but I wondered if the earlier entries were the outright stupid torture porn
this train wreck is. The case claims the
first is a cult classic, another abused term, but no mater what it is, this is
not that and why anyone would return to this place or material is sad. The only thing this has going for it is that
this is one of Isaac Hayes last appearances, but he is not in it long enough to
save it and I just hope he saw his money in time from it.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image is soft, bad edited, has the same old
shaky camerawork and poor composition throughout that has ruined the genre,
while the Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 Stereo mixes show how poor the audio really
is. The extras include interviews,
stills, a title song Music Video (!?!?!) and behind the scenes waste of time.
