My Three Sons - The First Season, Volume Two (1961/CBS DVD)

Picture: C+     Sound: C+     Extras: D     Episodes: C+

This DVD set is simply the conclusion of the debut season of the hit My Three Sons as divided in the manner CBS has been diving hour-long TV shows.  You can read all about it at this link:

Except for William Frawley (I Love Lucy) as their grandfather soon to leave the show (and succeeded by William Demarest as the boy’s uncle), nothing is new here, not even any new extras.  However, the show was quietly funny in its own way and deserved to be a hit.  Fun and worth your time, though starting with the first set is best.
