Nanny Insanity (Anchor Bay DVD)

I was
expecting maybe one or two chuckles from Kevin Connor’s Nanny Insanity because Howard Hessman and Mindy Sterling from the
Austin Powers films might do something funny, but instead, this is one of the
most unfunny things I have seen lately and it nearly put me to sleep. Yes, it is another crazy nanny story and that
in itself is played out, but nobody else making this understood that?

Petrenko is a Ukrainian nanny from hell (talk about a way to reignite The Cold
War) and she is going to show those yuppie types a thing or two. Too bad it will all be stupid! I am just amazed this got made, but here it
is and you should definitely skip it.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image is very soft and makes you realize why
it may not have played many/any theater screens, while the Dolby Digital 5.1
mix is on the weak side and too much towards the front speakers. Extras include a deleted scene (only one) and
theatrical trailer.
