Ben 10 – Alien Force: Volume Three (Cartoon Network/Warner DVD)

Picture: C+     Sound: C+     Extras: C-     Episodes: C-

Now that the Science Fiction angle has been played out a bit, Ben 10 seems to have turned to Jonny Quest and Jack Armstrong for inspiration on Ben 10 – Alien Force: Volume Three, now on DVD.  Our previous coverage starts with this link:

The Race Against Time coverage continues to be a very popular review, so we believe there is still a solid fan base for the show, yet we also do not see a franchise on the climb.  This single DVD has half-hour long episodes 10 – 13 and the only extra is a Villain’s Database feature that is weak.  This is for younger children and all new Alien X has been added, so Ben has new powers.  Guess you have to be a fan to get that, but the new powers do not improve the story line much.  Picture and sound performance here is in line with all the other animated sets we have covered to date.
