Green Day – The Boys Are Back In Town (Music Video Distributors DVD Set)

Music
Video Distributors combines two of their previous DVD releases on Green Day in
time for the release of their latest album.
One is the solid Under Review
installment on the band we previously covered at this link:
http://www.fulvuedrive-in.com/review/4779/Green+Day+%E2%80%93+Under+Rev
That
features coverage of the Middle Years from 1995 – 2000. Pogo
Paradise is an older program with none of their music (good thing the other
disc has plenty) and is for completists only.
Except for some old interview footage of the band, it is lame overall.
The 1.33
X 1 image of the newer disc is very soft and dated, matching it low-budget
production values. Editing and taping of
the analog NTSC video is weak, it looks weak and the addition of analog video
effects are very dated. The Dolby
Digital 2.0 sound is rarely stereo and always flawed. There are no extras. Big fans will want the set, but the rest are
better off settling for the Under Review disc separately.
