Mill Creek Entertainment Hip Hop Gangsta DVD Sets (Dayz Of Blood/Killaz/Stone Cold/Thugz)

Picture: C     Sound: C     Extras: D     Features: D

Who says Blaxploitation is dead.  It just now includes everyone else.  Mill Creek has managed to do us no favors by digging up some of the worse indie features with the “world’ of violent “gangstas” and they all blur into some of the worst wastes of time in DVD history.  The titles give you an idea of how empty each set’s offerings are;

Dayz Of Blood (Chip Factor/Black Listed/Better Dayz/Inhumanity [serial killer flick])

Killaz (Thugz/Blood Bills/Straight Out of Compton/Keepin’ It Real)

Stone Cold (2 G’s & A Key/Season Of Youth/Snuffed Out/Avia – Vampire Hunter)

Thugz (The Fast Life/East New York/Dre’s Karma/Hip Hop 4 Life)

To say these are clichéd is an understatement and so tired it is beyond belief.  Even when a name person shows up (Robert Townsend), it cannot save how bad these are.  Unless you are beyond curious or crazy for Hip Hop, avoid them all!
