Tracey Takes On - The Complete & Final Seasons (Season

Still
likely her biggest hit in the U.S., Tracey
Takes On did very well for HBO and is a series people still talk
about. Though I may have had more laughs
with State Of The Union, the time
she gets in this series to do more is worth the loss of some laughs. Here is our previous coverage of State Of The Union:

She has
more guest stars here, which has its pluses and minuses to it. On the plus side, you get Hugh Laurie, Helen Mirren, Jennifer Jason
Leigh, Corbin Bernsen and Cheech Marin among those fitting in very nicely into
the madness. The more amusing skits
include Hollywood, Erotica, Obsession and Road Rage, but all are sort of
monologues gone wild, which was done with a nice change of pace and the kind of
transformation Ullman was always capable of.
It is a show worth revisiting.
The 1.33
X 1 image is not bad with little to complain about in the way of flaws, while the
Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo is well-recorded for a joke-based show throughout. The combination is fine and if filmed, would
make for an interesting Blu-ray. Extras
include three 24-minute character episodes seen here for the very first time.
