I did not like it before and seeing it on Blu-ray now, it did not improve much, but what is impressive is how much better the picture in particular is.  The 1080i 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image is a big step up from the much weaker and softer than expected DVD image.  It is very weak as compared to this Blu-ray and is a much preferred presentation all around, even with some limits in detail and depth.

The DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) lossless 5.1 mix is superior to the DVD for richness and CD for articulation and just outdoes the PCM 2.0 Stereo and Dolby Digital 5.1 on the same Blu-ray.  The same band interview and booklet from the DVD are repeated here.
